03-05-2011 " Can Fear of Muslims Pass "
Radical Islamic Clerics stirred up their masses citing scriptures justifying jihad against none believers. All religions have sought after the oppressed and disadvantaged, offering hope, salvation, purpose and group identity. Non - Muslims, seeing centuries of exploitation and abuses by Muslim religious leaders, Muslim political leaders, Muslim regimes and monarchies. Said abuses, being murder, execution, torture, sexual, physical, and mental against their own people. The women and children are most vulnerable. Recent rants by Muslim leaders of Bahrain, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, Pakistan, Libya to name a few, has done little to ease distrust. I see good in the Muslim people. They like all of us wish to live life to its fullest here in a democracy. All people must keep respect for others and not impose ones, or degrade anothers, beliefs.

Both cultures are presently in a abrasive situation. Time will reveal that which is obscured. Cult atrocities abound. Arab Spring, it's reason throughout the middle east is the result of the oppression and exploitation. Monarchy's, Regimes and Dictatorships rule predominantly in the region. Their demonstrated opinion of the people is appalling Years of inter culture exchange is evident thru out the Arab World. Here in the US it's all about the fuel(oil). The dark side is Military presence, armaments and the almighty dollar.
ReplyDeleteI have always felt people are inherently good, it's generally the ruling power that's evil. Here too, there is much to be desired.
Consider the harsh treatment of Islamic citizens by their Governments, the backward Monarchy's and/or Dictatorships, it is deceptive to think Islam is a safe and healthy way.....................A few thoughts.
