SUGGESTION FOR AMERICA 'S PEOPLE, GOVERNMENT & POLITICIANS.........Tragedy requires massive 1st Response and infrastruture rebuilding. Extensive clean-up and new construction via national work program. Then continued throughout the USA with road, bridges, powergrid, water supply, dam-levee, sanitation and other aspects of quality of life. Federal National Disaster Funding. Jobs created, helpful and productive for economic survival and growth.

Forethought, logic and good sense, with a review of the Katrina Disaster and the unfinished. Stop future rebuilding on the shore and the Insurance of flood plain land and buildings. Or your on your own from here out. Pay existing claims and then become property of the Public Domain. Climate change issue, second to wasted resources on the very vernerable .
ReplyDeleteIf destruction is Insured, collect and move on. Cease new building and discontinue all public services.Those that choose to stay, at their own risk. Sea wall project to protect vital harbor and city buildings. Who knows what the future has in store.
ReplyDeleteShock and awe ! News, video's of destruction, death and suffering. Feel so very sad for all. Paralyzed communities, dark and cold. Catastrophic to millions, countless yet to be found and rescued. Serious hazzards still prevail, extreme caution needed due to gas leaks. Wet weather due Tuesday-Wednesday- ANGER & STRESS of no help. Stay calm, conserve & cooperate. Wear layers of clothing, lite physical activity creates body warmth, hydrade and maintain your medication as required. .
LIVING NEAR THE BEACH................Clarification needed about sea-ocean-vicinity homes and cottages. Generally were seasonal dwellings for generations, closely build with questionable construction and sometimes on landfill sites. Ever expanding with new dwellings in a highly desireable location became year-round living quarters. Add population growth well beyond imagination, living on the edge. Sadly a recipe for disaster. Records of previous storm activity have now been surpassed.
